WHOIS lookup
Registration details for a domain or the owner of an IP range, straight from the registry's WHOIS servers.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the owner's name hidden?
Since GDPR most registries and registrars redact personal contact data. The registrar can still forward messages to the owner, and legal requests go through the registrar.
What do the domain status codes mean?
clientTransferProhibited blocks unauthorised transfers and is normal. serverHold or clientHold means the domain does not resolve. pendingDelete means it is about to be released.
